TIME WAITS FOR NO ONE

TIME is the most valuable thing that we have, and this was the underlying message of the GIANTTO WATCHES shoot that took place in Los Angeles, CA from JAN 12-14th 2012.the TIME WAITS FOR NO ONE shoot, really captured the feeling that we all have limited time on this planet, in this world, in this life....and we better use it wisely. The seconds tick away everyday as we carry out our normal tasks, our everyday behaviors, we should count our blessings and truly make a difference or make a serious change while we are here.

A few months ago THE GIANTTO GROUP decided to contract with and fly Rick Genst " Rico the zombie boy" out from Montreal to Los Angeles along with his manger Colin Singer to make him the official new face of Giantto. “When I first saw pictures of Rick, I was in awe, he is such a beautiful contradiction of life and death, I had to work with him and immediately contacted him” says Anto G. CEO of the Giantto Group.

We put them up at the Standard Downtown and had a great time getting to know them. This day and a half shoot was put together by a great creative team with Matt Plunkett the photographer and friend of the Giantto group, Rabih Dandified-Aesthetician Dawud stylist and homie, and a crew of other helpful eyes, hands, and ears to bring such an amazing shoot together, thanks to all that came and supported. A special shot out to Platinum Motor Sports for sending what we kept calling the hearse, which was actually a Maybach and was dope as can be.

WE sat at the newly remodeled section of the rooftop after day 1 of the shoot was completed at the Standard Hotel, in the section they are calling the beer gardten ( Oktoberfest style) with sausage, German beer, pretzels, and beer tickets...and really got to know rick. The Giantto Group went on to interview Rick and get an idea of what made him cover his entire body with ink to portray the "walking Dead" he said that he started off as a circus performer, and that, " my teacher was a clown" ...he meant literally a clown. He started at the age of 16 performing in carnivals and circuses and doing acts of all sorts. He placed his first tattoo when he was 16 and has been at it ever since, he is now 26. After asking Rick how he feels about his new found success and what he thinks about working with so many new faces he says, “ you need many people to create a circus.”

After completing the second day of the shoot we decided to go to a local watering hole for a wrap party "Hemmingways" in Holywood to celebrate and "Roxbury" and had a great time. The Hollywood scene instantly recognized Rick and embraced him.

Rico went from a circus performer to working with huge names like Lady Gaga, and has walked down runways in Milan for MUGLER fashion shows and campaigns, he has also been to Moscow recently, Japan, and other amazing destinations and been published in many high fashion magazines due to his awesome body art. Rumor has it that he was just signed to Universal to a possible career in music and “dubstep” beats. Rico is a gentle sole despite his outlandish appearance, once we got to know him we found that he is kind, he is creative, he is an artist and a true performer and rising star. Rico went on to state that he will be donating all proceeds/consideration that he received from this campaign to a charity to help people in need, a true sweetheart.

GIANTTO SAINTS

The Giantto Watch Group and Roman Harper of the New Orleans Saints, Work Together to Create Hope for the Holidays
For every tackle Roman makes, the Giantto Group will donate a watch to Roman’s foundation, Harper’s Hope 4*1

New Orleans Saints Roman Harper, Garrett Hartley, and Johnny Patrick for the GAMETIME campaign (the three Saints all wearing Giantto Watches "Just G" collection)

Los Angeles, CA December 07, 2011
Giantto watches is partnering with BG Sports to support celebrity athlete’s foundations and charities – to raise awareness of the value of time and highlight how top athletes use theirs to make a difference. Roman Harper is the third athlete to partner with giantto watches and take part in The GAMETIME campaign, following Ron Brace (New England Patriots) and Craig Dahl (Saint Louis Rams).
For every tackle Roman makes during the December 18h game versus the Minnesota Vikings and the December 26th home game versus the Atlanta Falcons, the Giantto Group will donate a signature Giantto 'Just G' watch to Roman’s foundation, Harper’s Hope 4*1. These watches will be auctioned off at several Harper’s Hope 4*1 events to raise money for the foundation.

The Giantto GAMETIME campaign represents an inspirational mantra and symbolizes the time to do something more, make a change, or to step up your game…“How you spend your time will determine everything about you. We need to make the most of every moment by making a serious change and utilizing every second… don’t waste your time, do something that is meaningful, and be someone that matters in this world.”

~ Anthony Giantto, CEO of the Giantto Group

Whether it’s valuable seconds on the game clock or hours helping others off the field, Roman recognizes what really matters.
Giantto interviewed Roman to get his perspective on how he tackles life on and off the field. When asked how he defines time, Roman replied, "Time is something you can never get back."
Giantto asked Roman what his most memorable moment in time was and he described,
"My most memorable moment in time was winning the Superbowl in 2009. That was very special. There was maybe a minute or so left on the clock in the fourth quarter, and we stopped the Colts on fourth down. At that moment we all started celebrating on the field!"
Giantto asked Roman about his foundation, Harpers Hope 4*1, the purpose and previous projects, Roman explained,
"It’s important to reach out through my foundation Harper’s Hope 4*1 because it won’t happen unless I make it happen. You can’t just start a foundation and not put your time and efforts into it. The main purpose of Harper’s Hope 4*1 is to fulfill the need to lend a helping hand to challenged youth and their families to promote better leaders of tomorrow, and the future of the nation. Some of Harper’s Hope 4*1 Foundation’s past activities include: Christmas Toys, United Way fundraisers, football camps, PSA for United Way’s Gulf Coast Recovery Fund; and “Spring into Reading” campaign."
"Currently, I’ve also teamed up with United Way for the “Live United Campaign”. Our goal is to cut the high school dropout rate in half by encouraging individuals to become volunteer readers, tutors or mentors. I’ve committed to recruit 1,000 volunteers per year for the next three years. Anyone can sign up and all you have to do is go to the website and pledge that you will volunteer, tutor, mentor, or read to a youth in your local community. http://liveunited.org/team-nfl/players/roman-harper/%22;
Roman also went on to explain about his current campaign "Hope for the Holidays", "My former teammate Darren Sharper and I teamed up with United Way beginning last year and developed “Hope for the Holidays”, which supports the United Way’s “NO Place like Home” initiative. We help to rebuild homes destroyed by Katrina to put families that have been displaced back in their homes for the holidays. This year we have also teamed up with several other teammates, Malcolm Jenkins, Jahri Evans, and Lance Moore. Hope for the Holidays really means a lot to me, especially after doing it last year. Just seeing how it changes these people’s lives. Seeing the smiles on their children’s faces. The coolest part about it is the relationships you develop after doing the whole thing. It really feels like I know the families."

Craig Dahl: GAMETIME

GAMETIME
Craig Dahl
Safety, St. Louis Rams

The Game Time campaign truly represents an inspirational mantra and symbolizes the time to do something more, make a change, or to STEP UP YOUR GAME.

“Time is the most valuable thing that anyone can possess, certain seconds can change anyone’s life and we are trying to honor those moments and cherish them here… with these athletes, in all of their glory.”
Anthony Giantto, CEO of the Giantto Group

“I think this is an incredible opportunity to bring together great athletes and powerful companies for a wonderful cause!” Brittany Gilman, President BG Sports

What is your most memorable moment in TIME?
My most memorable moment in time would be celebrating a Super Bowl Championship (Super Bowl XLII Giants over Patriots) with my family on the field after the game. It was February 3, 2008 in Glendale Arizona-I had my mom, dad, and brother all with me.

If you could go back into time and re-live an experience when and where would it be? Would you change anything about that?
I wouldn’t change anything, I don’t believe in that. However I would like to relive some moments. Most recently, my grandma passed away. I would like to go back and relive some family reunions and some card games with her.

What inspires you?
A challenge to become the best, to perform up to what I think is my potential, which is close to perfection. If you don’t set your goal as perfection, then you will never come close.

What is your best piece of advice?
“Your attitude determines your altitude.”

What charity are you going to donate this money/watches to and why?
I support 15 tickets to each home game to active members of armed forces and their families to come see the game through “Operation Homefront”, it’s a national organization and they have a Missouri chapter.

I want to recognize the people that serve our country and their families. They don’t get the recognition that they deserve as far as devoting themselves to the freedom of the people in the United States on a daily basis.

It means a lot to me that I’m able to partner with Giantto to provide them with a gift and to show our appreciation.
